Details about the taskbar

Taskbar Introduction

Given below pic is labeled with names of taskbar.

Lets start from Left to right to check what icons are on the task bar.

• First is the windows logo.
  • When you click on it you can browser install programs.
  • Shutdown/Restart/Sleep you Pc.

• Search bar
  • Click on it to search any thing like programs/files in your pc.
• Cortana
  • It your pc have a good mic than you can use it. Its a virtual assistant developed by Microsoft which uses bing search engine to find thing in pc also from internet. Learn more….
• Task view
  • If you want to see all running task on you pc then only need to be click on it. All running task will be view and you can find your specific task easily. Learn more….
• Taskbar Icons
  • All those programs that are running and pin to taskbar are shown here.
• Show hidden icons
  • Background processes are shown here when you click on it. Like mail, google drive, adobe update etc.
• Internet Icon
  • Show the internet cable or internet is on or not.

What is Internet?

• Audio Icon
  • To increase or decrease volume also you can mute audio.
• Language Bar
  • If you use more than 1 keyboard layout than you can use easily change keyboard layout from here!
  • Learn more about Language bar and its use.
• Date/Time
  • Change date/time also you can change time zone.
• Notifications
  • You can see notification about your programs , update or much more.
• Show Desktop
  • Click right bottom corner to see desktop.
